A Happy Brand for a Happy Place.

When The Kids Cancer Foundation of Alberta decided to open a new
summer camp, they needed a name and brand to entice and welcome families. It had to be inviting and it had to be fun. Turns out Guru does fun, too.




A Passion for Passionate Brands.

Guru worked closely with KCCFA and their staff to discover what they thought the most important attribute of their brand should be. The staff expressed their passion for developing a brand that would reflect campers’ experiences. It needed to convey that the camp was: A place to kindle friendships. A place to ignite a desire for life. And a place to light up lives.





We put on our thinking caps.

After brainstorming several avenues, we agreed on a name: Camp Kindle. The logo mark, a heart butterfly, represents the love KCCFA want the children to feel and the freedom KCCFA would love for them to experience. Both the name and logo work together to create a strong, emotional connection to the brand—and make everyone feel all warm and fuzzy inside.
