Innovation starts with a simple idea.

The founders of Triton thought: “Wouldn’t it be nice to have a virtual triathlon training system?” A lot of athletes agreed a site that could guide workouts and measure progress would be very valuable. Problem was, the founders weren’t sure how to market such a site, let alone create one. Nothing like it exists. There’s no model to learn from. Good thing mammoth, complex websites are our specialty.

An Olympian effort.

To launch Triton, we first had to create a business plan. We also had to give the company a name. (Triton was the lucky winner.) Once our ideas were in place, we began working with two-time Olympic gold medalist Simon Whitfield to develop a dynamic interactive triathlon training program that acts like a virtual coach. Our mission was to create a program that could think for the user and schedule workouts based on specific goals and individualized progress.




Never been done doesn’t mean can’t
be done.

We knew if we were going to succeed, we needed to learn all there is to know about triathlon training. We spent a year working with various triathlon coaches to develop thousands of possible workouts. So far we’ve filmed, produced and edited 999 workout videos, and expect to surpass 1000 by the time the site goes live Spring 2011. We intend Triton to be a virtual powerhouse training tool for triathletes across the globe.







Everything a triathlete needs.

Not only will Triton act as a personalized coach, but the site will offer a specialized line of clothing as well as other triathlon related products. We want Triton to be the goto site for triathletes. When we brand, we go big.








Getting the brand out.

Triton will be the first virtual triathlon training site in the world. While this is a major achievement, it means nothing if triathletes don’t know it exists. Hence, we developed a marketing plan to coincide with Triton’s launch in Spring 2011. We’re ensuring the site makes a big splash, much like dozens of triathletes hitting the water.
